Growing up in the Midwest, Jack used the forests near his home as Jedi training grounds. Full of discerning Yodas, Ewoks and the plaintive whine of speeder bikes. The verdant creeks found him turning over wet stones in the mud while humming the Jurassic Park theme and commenting about ‘clever girls’ whenever the wind rustled the foliage. Jack always endeavored to keep his gunpowder dry Incase Magua attacked the last Mohicans.
When it rained, the basement transformed into hasty fortifications for colonial space marines equipped with super soakers and flashlight motion trackers, as they defended LV-426 against acid blooded aliens.
These days, Jack the scientist Iives and works in California with his amazing wife Ana. He still cooks food thinking it’s elven lembas bread and always weighs a bag of gaming dice between his hands in case he needs to swap it out for Indiana’s golden idol. As an adult, his outlook is tempered by an imagination often stoked by wonderful films and books. He is always happy to banter on about both.
