Episode 94- Rat Race (2001)
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
Wednesday Sep 08, 2021
In an ensemble film about easy money, greed, manipulation and bad driving, a Las Vegas casino tycoon entertains his wealthiest high rollers -- a group that will bet on anything -- by pitting six ordinary people against each other in a wild dash for $2 million jammed into a locker hundreds of miles away. The tycoon and his wealthy friends monitor each racer's every move to keep track of their favorites. The only rule in this race is that there are no rules.
$2 Million Dollars! That's what is at stake and we have the movie JUST for you! Host Drew brings us a film that he loved when it came out and still laughs at today with 2001's Rat Race! The hilarious antics of the cast, the quotable lines and yes even admitting to some of the nonsense that doesn't need to be there is all you'll be getting today! However there is a shocking development from Host Jack with his review of this film and Nathan finds himself in the middle. We can't wait for you to join us! We'll see you at the finish line!
We are the Reel Feels Podcast, every other Wednesday we'll bring you a new movie with all the feels you can handle. We'll laugh, we'll cry and possibly restrain the frustrations to curse the heavens. But what you can count on is three guys sharing their love of cinema with you.

Episode 93- American History X (1998)
Wednesday Aug 25, 2021
Wednesday Aug 25, 2021
Living a life marked by violence and racism, neo-Nazi Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton) finally goes to prison after killing two black youths who tried to steal his car. Upon his release, Derek vows to change his ways; he hopes to prevent his younger brother, Danny (Edward Furlong), who idolizes Derek, from following in his footsteps. As he struggles with his own deeply ingrained prejudices and watches their mother grow sicker, Derek wonders if his family can overcome a lifetime of hate.
Well when Nathan says he has a Tragedy genre film for us, he doesn't fail. Today we tackle 1998's "American History X" and we all agree that it's a very well done movie... but damn is it heavy. However, even the weight of the subject matter, doesn't overshadow the performances of Edward Norton and Edward Furlong. Heck, we even get to say hi to Avery Brooks, best known as Captain Benjamin Sisko from Star Trek DS9! We hope you're all ready folks! Let's go!

What Are You Watching?- Part 6
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
Wednesday Aug 18, 2021
Today's episode features a special guest, it's Brad from The Cinema Guys! He joins host Drew to discuss what they've been watching and also to highlight (mostly spoiler free): Pig (2021), The Suicide Squad (2021) and Bunnyman: The Grindhouse Edition (2019).
In this "in between" episodes upload, we'll cover our usual "What Are You Watching?" discussion that we've done on our normal episodes. We talk shop on our movie viewings, tv series and maybe a documentary or two. Nathan might chime in with what board games he's been trying and we can always count on host Jack to give us an update on his current gaming on his Xbox. We also want to hear from YOU, our Reelest of fans, on what you're watching! Any recommendations? Challenges? Call the Tucc Line and let us know!

Episode 92- Top Secret! (1984)
Wednesday Aug 11, 2021
Wednesday Aug 11, 2021
Popular and dashing American singer Nick Rivers (Val Kilmer) travels to East Germany to perform in a music festival. When he loses his heart to the gorgeous Hillary Flammond (Lucy Gutteridge), he finds himself caught up in an underground resistance movement. Rivers joins forces with Agent Cedric (Omar Sharif) and Flammond to attempt the rescue of her father, Dr. Paul (Michael Gough), from the Germans, who have captured the scientist in hopes of coercing him into building a new naval mine.
In Episode 92, Jack has brought us one of his all-time favorite movies for our #MilitaryComedy genre, 1984's "Top Secret!" We have Val Kilmer in his very first movie role and it's in a classic, clever and incredibly brilliant spoof! Plus, he can sing! Did you know he could sing? The gimmicks and smart jokes are all throughout this film and we couldn't get enough of them. We also discuss our own childhood practical jokes, what lines from movies & tv shows our personal friends share and of course... our own "imaginative" and unorthodox movie fight-scene.

Episode 91- Still Mine (2012)
Wednesday Jul 28, 2021
Wednesday Jul 28, 2021
A farmer (James Cromwell) fights back when local authorities hamper his efforts to build a cottage for his dementia-stricken wife (Geneviève Bujold).
This is our next Patreon patron movie pick! Host Drew's very own mama has chosen a movie that truly spoke to her and hit home pretty hard. The boys reflect on the honest nature of the film and all the "Lifetime" original picture stylings of this movie featuring the great James Cromwell. There's humor, but also the transparent evidence of what is truly happening in the lives of these people and we respect that. We're thankful for this pick and love the support of all of our patrons!

Episode 90- The Great Outdoors (1988)
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
Wednesday Jul 14, 2021
It's vacation time for outdoorsy Chicago man Chet Ripley (John Candy), along with his wife, Connie (Stephanie Faracy), and their two kids, Buck (Chris Young) and Ben (Ian Giatti). But a serene weekend of fishing at a Wisconsin lakeside cabin gets crashed by Connie's obnoxious brother-in-law, Roman Craig (Dan Aykroyd), his wife, Kate (Annette Bening), and the couple's two daughters. As the excursion wears on, the Ripleys find themselves at odds with the stuffy Craig family.
For our Vacation genre, host Drew has taken us back to 1988 for a childhood classic with "The Great Outdoors". The guys reminisce about the great humor in the movie, the physical comedy and yes... those creepy little twin girls. We also delve into our own camping stories, thoughts on food challenges and even some "vacation romances". So join us for this hilariously fun packed film!
