Episode 56- Battle Royale (2000)

42 9th graders are sent to a deserted island. They are given a map, food, and various weapons. An explosive collar is fitted around their neck. If they break a rule, the collar explodes. Their mission: kill each other and be the last one standing. The last survivor is allowed to leave the island. If there is more than one survivor, the collars explode and kill them all.
 
It's time for our "Foreign" genre and host Drew decides to bring a movie back from his teen years to share with the guys.  Definitely a cult favorite for many out there and ringing true to having "connections" towards The Hunger Games and other movies that followed in this cult classics footsteps! Episode 55- The Untouchables (1987)

After building an empire with bootleg alcohol, legendary crime boss Al Capone (Robert De Niro) rules Chicago with an iron fist. Though Prohibition agent Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) attempts to take Capone down, even his best efforts fail due to widespread corruption within the Windy City's police force. Recruiting an elite group of lawmen who won't be swayed by bribes or fear, including Irish-American cop Jimmy Malone (Sean Connery), Ness renews his determination to bring Capone to justice.
 
What are you prepared to do?  Listen?  THEN what are you prepared to do?  That's right, the Reel Feels Boys are "doin some good" and reviewing "The Untouchables"!  Covering this fun gangster themed film is just what hosts Drew, Jack and Nathan needed.  From the details about casting, costumes and camera work... to the lines connecting towards other great films there isn't anything you'll wanna miss! The guys even celebrate this recording with a drink to remember those days of prohibition. Thus endeth the lesson.

Episode 54- Sword in the Stone (1963)

This Disney adaptation of the classic fable chronicles King Arthur's humble beginnings. As an orphaned child, Arthur, who was then known as Wart, wants to help his foster brother, Kay, succeed in becoming a knight. While helping Kay train, Wart stumbles upon a cabin belonging to Merlin, a bumbling but talented wizard. Merlin does his best to convince the boy that he is bound for greatness, and when Wart and Kay travel to London to attend a jousting contest, they learn that Merlin was right.
 
Hosts Jack, Nathan and Drew all are delighted to review this #Animation genre brought to us by Host Jack!  It's a beautiful film filled with humor, insightful knowledge of the world and the timeless classic style of old school Disney.  Jack drops some great tidbits and trivia on the guys and the segments get a bit interesting with more personal stories from their lives.  We can't wait for you to join us on this magical adventure!

Episode 53- Tremors 3: Back to Perfection (2001)

Legendary monster-killer Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) has returned to Perfection, Nev., scene of the original attacks by the worm creatures with razor teeth known as graboids. Sure enough, the creatures attack again, only now they're split into graboids, shriekers and a new mutation known as ass-blasters, which are propelled into flight by combustible flatulence. It's up to Burt, Jack Sawyer (Matthew Seth Wilson) and other locals to save their town from destruction.
 
We're back baby!  That's right The Reel Feels Podcast is back for SEASON 3: Return of the Feels!   As tradition dictates, we're continuing with the next installment of the franchise that we started with... Episode 50- Patreon- What About Bob? (1991)

Before going on vacation, self-involved psychiatrist Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss) has the misfortune of taking on a new patient: Bob Wiley (Bill Murray). An exemplar of neediness and a compendium of phobias, Bob follows Marvin to his family's country house. Dr. Marvin tries to get him to leave; the trouble is, everyone love Bob.
