Episode 100- The Boondock Saints (2000)

Tired of the crime overrunning the streets of Boston, Irish Catholic twin brothers Conner (Sean Patrick Flanery) and Murphy (Norman Reedus) are inspired by their faith to cleanse their hometown of evil with their own brand of zealous vigilante justice. As they hunt down and kill one notorious gangster after another, they become controversial folk heroes in the community. But Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe), an eccentric FBI agent, is fast closing in on their blood-soaked trail.
Host Drew brings us a favorite from his teen years and a cult favorite of many throughout the world!  The Boondock Saints is a shoot'em up, laugh riot film filled with a great cast and a sizable body count to match.  The boys laugh at the memorable scenes, the beloved soundtrack and gush over William Dafoe.  Plus, there's a bit of background info on the director to be had as well.  So take a shot, load your guns and let's go get them bad guys!

Episode 99- Maverick (1994)

This film update of the "Maverick" TV series finds the title cardsharp (Mel Gibson) hoping to join a poker contest with an impressive payoff. In order to enter, Maverick must first put up a large cash sum. He scams hopeful contestants Annabelle (Jodie Foster) and Angel (Alfred Molina) in a preliminary card game to win the money he needs, making enemies of both players. While trying to evade Annabelle and Angel, the crafty Maverick realizes a cunning marshal (James Garner) is also on his tail.
 
When you think of "Period Piece" you think of 1994's Maverick... right?  Well, host Nathan sure did!  But regardless of host Jack's feelings, this was one fun recording! We discuss the classic characters, history of Maverick himself and the pure "popcorn" feeling this movie gives all of us.  So saddle up and make sure all your chips are accounted for folks.  Let's talk "Maverick"!

During the presidential election of 1988, a teenager named Donnie Darko sleepwalks out of his house one night and sees a giant, demonic-looking rabbit named Frank, who tells him the world will end in 28 days. When Donnie returns home, he finds that a jet engine has crashed into his bedroom. Is Donnie living in a parallel universe, is he suffering from mental illness - or will the world really end?

Episode 97- Slumber Party Massacre (1982)

After the training of the high school girls' basketball team, a group of players schedule a slumber party. Most of the girls agrees to go to the party. Meanwhile, the serial-killer Russ Thorn escapes from prison and comes to the school with a drilling machine in the beginning of his crime spree.

Episode 96- The Wailing (2016)

Soon after a stranger arrives in a little village, a mysterious sickness starts spreading. A policeman, drawn into the incident, is forced to solve the mystery in order to save his daughter.
 
Nathan has hit the ball out of the park with this one folks and Drew and Jack couldn't have been happier with his choice!  This Korean horror just hit the spot for the beginning of the spooky season.  This movie is dense with things to unpack and notice.  From Biblical metaphors, cultural traditions to the believability of what is real or not.  We hope you're in for a treat!
